The Bennett-Curtis House is an 18 room mansion that was built in 1900 by George M. Bennett. Then purchased by Illinois Senator Edward C. Curtis in 1919. The House is set on spacious ground shaded by 100 year old maples flanked by bubbling fountains, sweeping lawns, lush cool ferns & colorful flowers.

The interior is beautifully decorated featuring crown molding, oak trims in-lay wood floors, moray cloth covered walls, stain glass, velvet drapery and more. If you are looking for a unique and historical setting for your wedding ceremony and reception, the Bennett-Curtis House is it. Senator Curtis and wife held their very own reception in the house over 75 years ago.
